It’s been a little while since I sent one of these out, so I thought I’d get back on track with a bit of a catch up of a few bits from the last year or so. There are some exciting new things in the pipeline, so hopefully I’ll get back to sending a few of these out a year.
Rafe Spall for The National Theatre
THE NATIONAL THEATRE
I was asked by the National Theatre to take a portrait of Rafe Spall for the upcoming play Death of England, emulating a pivotal scene from the play. Collaborating with actors to bring out a character is a way of working I really relish and will never tire of.
It was a great pleasure working with Rafe and watching him get into character. Thoroughly lovely man to work with, just as his dad was when I photographed him some years back.
